On the Glenn Beck Special
I saw Aslam Abdullah when he appeared on the Glenn Beck special talking about the false propaganda that is unfortunately spread throughout the Muslim world by the Muslims themselves.
I was not aware that he wrote a condemnation of these lunatics after one of their insane video releases.
I love my family and friends and they did nothing to these deranged people. Yet they think it is “Islamic” to cut my Father’s or my Uncle’s - or my own for that matter - head off. They think that it is permissible to steal our money. They think it is permissible to rape my sister and mother. They have ZERO regard for life and I want nothing to do with them. These Khawarij are sick. What ever happened to talking to people reasonably? Nope, would rather cut their heads off.
Count me in agreement with what is below:
What you are doing in Iraq, Afghanistan, India or other parts of the world is anti-human and anti-divine. You are an enemy of Islam as much as you are an enemy of America. You must understand that God who entrusted you with life is the same God who spelled his spirit in every human being regardless of his or her religion or ethnicity or nationality or status. You are violating him.We feel totally disgusted with your action and we condemn you without any reservation. Don’t come to our mosques to preach this hatred. Don’t visit our Islamic centers to spill the blood of innocents. Don’t think that just because we share the same religion, we would show some sympathy to you.[...]
We reject you now as we rejected you yesterday. There is nothing common between you and us.We stand for life, you want to destroy it.We accept the divine scheme of diversity in the world and you want to impose conformity.
We respect every human being simply because he or she is a creation of the divine, and you hate people based on their religion and ethnicity.
We support freedom and liberty and justice, and you promote bigotry, murder and strangulation.
You will never be able to find a sympathetic voice amidst us. Our differences with others will never lead us to do things that are fundamentally wrong in our faith, i. e. taking the lives of innocent people and killing others because they are different
Further, it is time for Muslims to stop spreading dodgy information. In the end, it is much more damaging - as they blame Islam itself - once they find out that Jews don’t actually bake their cookies with the blood of Palestinian children, rip out the eyes of Muslim children for Jewish use, stealing human organs and that the Protocols of the Elders Zion is a forgery.

Assalamu alaikum, I can definitely agree with Aslam Abdullah, but while there are Muslims thta spread this awful stuff within the Muslim word, there are also non-Muslims who will use this and make this like this is what *most*, if not all, Muslims believe and practice. And I don’t think it is, and if it is, I’d be truly heart-broken to know this. It’s one thing to tackle extremism and to speak out against it unequivocally, but when you have people like Glenn Beck, who seem to want to use this as a reason to further beat Muslims over the head, as well as question thier loyalty to the US etc., that is what I have a problem with. And then to continue to pretend that Muslims have not been speaking out against this when they have! I’m just tired of it. I’m tired of the extremism, the hatred, and the rhetoric on both sides!

Believe it or not, I think that Mr Beck was actually trying to show a modicum of balance by having Aslam Abdullah on and having him to denounce these clown to show that not all Muslims agree with this kind of non-sense.
I see some good in this and that is that the more these Kharajee propaganda films are exposed, hopefully the less often we will see them.
Assalamu alaikum, you know, you’re right, and I didn’t get that far into the program. Maybe I need to go back and rewatch it. And while it is good that he had Aslam Abdullah on, he waited until the last two minutes or so, which maybe shouldn’t matter! I guess it would depend on what was said, not necessarily the time allotted. However, as I’d gotten a phone call, and was on the phone at the time, I’ll need to go back and watch it again!
