    Every black person in Chicago, knows somebody who moved to Minn to get on section 8 or more foodstamps or welfare. I guess Southerners are different. Y’all don’t chase welfare?

    Umm Adam: Chasing welfare was something shameful in my parts. It seems to have become an artform in the last 10-12 years

    Yeah they have it down to a science in Chicago. Chicago has a 10 year waiting list just to get on sec 8 (and ppl wait instead of say getting a PH.D in that time), so the more savvy will go to Minn or Atlanta or some poor hick town (there goes the neighborhood) to get on their sec 8 and move back to Chicago and transfer it after a year.
