Equivalence

What does this clown have to do with me?
A person posting under the name “Palestine 4 Ever” said in the previous comments:
Eight whole Jews died. How will the world ever recover from this travesty? Poor, poor Jews.
I am sick of the Jews and their cries of “pity me, I’m the victim”. How is it that Israel is the victim, when the weapons and money are on their side, and the deaths are on the Palestinian side?
I am sorry, but I do not believe in blind hatred of all Jews. Show me the ayah of Qur’an that commands us to hate all Jews…Sorry, but I don’t drink the “all Jews are evil” Kool-Aid
Tariq Nelson, I noticed that you are silent on the blacks that killed Eve Carson at UNC. Do you not have anything to say when your fellow BLACKS kill people?? Until you condemn a black NO ONE will take your biased Zionist-controlled rants seriously
The reaction above is exactly why I cringe when I see pictures like this and/or that blacks have committed a crime. Once again, for the umpteenth time: my point is to de-couple Islam from attempts to say that these killings are from Islam. I am saying that Islam has nothing to do with these things: PERIOD.
As for Eve Carson, I think that it was tasteless to somehow invoke her in this argument and to imply that I approve of her murder because the perpetrator is (allegedly) some black thug. I did not see why this was necessary at all. I have nothing in common with people like the creep(s) that killed Eve Carson and do not see why this even came to your mind. Let me ask you, if it is found that she was Jewish, would you in turn think that she “got what she deserved”?
This man - I presume - is not Muslim.
This man - I presume - did not do this crime in the name of Islam. He is some sorry thug. This is my point and I don’t see the equivalent in the arguments. While the Eve Carson murder is indeed very tragic, it was (apparently) not done in the name of Islam so your argument against me holds no water. That is unless the thug who killed her claims to be oppressed and killed her because of his feelings. In which case I would STILL SAY that this is a horrible crime

Mr. Nelson,
That’s the million dollar question.
Sad because I am assume that this Muslim brother does not take you seriously as a Muslim condeming terrorism (you have no right to talk about Muslim issues!). Rathar he looks at you as a black, not as a fellow Muslim. If only you were Arab….
He just doesn’t get it.
He probably sees his people dying and flips it as Muslims dying, gaining sympathy, attention, and money from people who really don’t know anything about Palestine. Yet, when you see Muslims (who happen to be Palestinian) killing, he flips it and trys to tell you to mind your own business because you do not help his Palestinian cause.
Nationalism in the name of Islam, again has been revealed.
R.I.P. Eve Carson.
“What does this clown have to do with me?”
Let’s see. He is black and you are black
Palestine 4 Ever,
But what is that suppose to mean? Why does Tariq owe anyone any sort of explaination just because they are both black? Being black does not mean anything other than being a part of the same social class that society has labeled them.
Trust me, if our society labeled you black you would be just as black as that man in the picture and Nelson, no matter where you hail from, no matter what you look like (which is why “who is black?” is different all around the world).
Neither of these men chose to be black! They owe no, debt to anyone because of what they had not control over being. Plain and simple.
salaam
oh and how about just taking the fact that everyone is human. Palestine 4 ever now I guess that means that he has something to deal with you then.
…but then you want Mr. Nelson to talk about Black Killers? Hmmmm…If you’re going to give sympathy to Eve Carson, do it without adding race/nationality to the equation to it.
Generally, I don’t fool ( and still don’t and after this post ,I’m on to better things) with racists/nationalists because you’re going going to say, what you want to say, and think what you going to think. The only difference(s) are that, if I’m going to judge the character of people, I’m going to get the truth from it. I’m not going to get my “truth” and/or” from generalizations, I get mine from learning about people. I don’t learn about people by your lop-sided way of thinking.
BTW.The Eve Carson story was one of tragedy, but she was a good person in more ways than one. Not only was she and intelligent young woman, but she was an an very open-minded person. From what I learned about Mrs Carson, she had friends from all spectrums. She didn’t have a problem race. If she was around today, she would probably be upset with your racist views.
C-ya!
Palestine 4 Ever:
The effort you expend on this blog could be better directed towards Palestinian advocacy don’t you think?
Cheers!
Palestinians can be very racist
